On 18th of July in 2014, in order to reminisce revolutionary martyrs, the Private Education Trade Union Confederatio (TUC) of XiCheng district, organized the teachers---who had taken the General Knowledge Quiz of the 3rd Plenary Session of the 18th Central Committee of CPC---to go to YuZiMountain located in PingGu district and visit Anti-Japanese War Memorial Hall. President assistant Ms Yawen Zhang, administrative assistant Ms Lu Jia, and members of TUC went together to YuZiMountain village and took part in the activity as well.

The village in YuZi mountain has a long history of revolution. In World War II , the secret anti-Japanese coalition government of neighbouring area was located here and then it became the command center in Co. PingGu. During 12 years from the day which Japanese army invaded the area in May 1933, to 13th of September in 1945 that they run away to SanHe, more than one hundred and eighty people were killed, and more than two thousand houses were burned down here. The whole area became scorched earth. However, in those years, people of YuZi mountain never surrender to Japanese invaders. They were leaded by the Communist Party of China, kept fighting and never give up, as people call 'Village of BeiZhai is Iron, Village of NanShan is Copper, and YuZi village could never be beaten'. After liberation, in order to remember the last generation of revolutionists, martyrs, and their glorious achievement, the village built the YuZi Mountain Anti-Japanese War Memorial Hall in 1998. At present, here becomes municipal patriotism education base in Peking.

By means of this activity, we know the village, and more importantly, our history. Only the strong willpower could make us success, and only the power of unity could make our country more prosperous.
